Welcome to Brooklyn Heights Cleaning (“Company,” “we,” “our,” “us”). By accessing our website, booking services, or using our services within New York City, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. Services Provided
Brooklyn Heights Cleaning provides residential services throughout New York City, including:
- Standard Cleaning
- Deep Cleaning
- Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning
- Specialty Services (as agreed in writing)
Services are performed according to the package selected at booking.
2. Booking and Scheduling
- Appointments may be scheduled online, by phone, or by email.
- All bookings are subject to availability.
- We reserve the right to adjust schedules due to weather, transportation delays, public emergencies, staffing issues, or building access restrictions common in NYC.
- Customers must provide accurate contact, building, and access information.
3. Pricing and Payment (NYC Compliance)
- Prices are based on square footage, condition, frequency, and scope of work.
- Any estimate is based on customer-provided information and may change upon inspection.
- Additional charges may apply for excessive dirt, pet hair, clutter, biohazards, or undisclosed conditions.
- Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted Payment Methods:

All payments comply with New York State consumer protection laws.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
To comply with NYC consumer fairness practices:
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
- Late cancellations may incur up to 50% of the service fee.
- Same-day cancellations and no-shows may be charged 100%.
- Emergency exceptions may be considered at management’s discretion.
5. Access to Property
Customers are responsible for providing:
- Legal building access
- Working elevators (when applicable)
- Doorman approval (if required)
- Parking or loading zone instructions
If access is unavailable, service may be canceled and billed.
We are not responsible for delays caused by building policies or security restrictions.
6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Secure pets during service
- Remove cash, jewelry, and valuables
- Notify us of fragile or high-value items
- Disclose mold, pests, biohazards, or hazardous materials
- Maintain safe working conditions
We are not responsible for damage caused by undisclosed risks.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
In compliance with NYC service standards:
- Report concerns within 24 hours of service.
- Provide photos when requested.
- Allow reasonable access for re-cleaning.
We may offer a re-clean of affected areas. Refunds are issued at management discretion.
8. Damage and Liability
- All staff are insured and trained.
- Claims must be reported within 24 hours.
- We are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing damage
- Normal wear and tear
- Improperly installed items
- Low-quality materials
Liability is limited to repair or replacement cost.
9. Health, Safety, and OSHA Compliance
We comply with:
- NYC Department of Health Guidelines
- OSHA Workplace Safety Standards
- NYS Labor Law
Customers must disclose:
- Allergies
- Chemical sensitivities
- Lead paint
- Asbestos
- Biohazards
We may refuse unsafe work environments.
10. Service Refusal
We may refuse or discontinue service due to:
- Unsafe conditions
- Harassment
- Discrimination
- Non-payment
- Misrepresentation
- Illegal activity
We maintain compliance with NYC Human Rights Law.
11. Website Use
By using this website, you agree not to:
- Upload harmful content
- Attempt unauthorized access
- Misuse forms
- Copy proprietary material

13. Non-Solicitation of Staff
Customers may not hire our employees or contractors privately for 24 months after service without written consent.

To the fullest extent permitted under New York law:
We are not liable for:
- Lost items not secured
- Indirect damages
- Business losses
- Emotional distress
Total liability is limited to the amount paid for service.
15. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays caused by:
- Severe weather
- Transit strikes
- Natural disasters
- Pandemics
- Government shutdowns
- Power outages
16. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

All disputes shall be resolved in courts located in New York County or Kings County.
